Program Target

　　As the only Hip-hop Dance Department in Arts College of China, the aim for this course is training the distinguished Hip-hop dance talents. Though all the theory and practice, teachers devote to cultivate students’ ability of being a performer or instructor of Hip-hop dance, to make them understand Hip-hop culture and perform in their own style.

　　One of the graduate, Huang Jingxing , was praised as Chinese Hip-hop Dance prince，got the first prize of 2005 National Dance Competition held CCTV, the Second Prize of 2008 UK B-boy Championship.

Faculty Resource

　　Joined with Korean largest entertainment company, half amount of the teacher are from Korea, other are from America and Japan.

　　There are 5 exclusive Practice rooms and 2 rehearsal hall in this department.

Entry requirement

　　Reach 300 points in Chinese College Entrance Examination and pass the specialty Examinations required by BJCMA.

Where to Next?

　　The graduates could employ as modern dance instructors, professional dancers, dance choreography, modern dance critic, models and other relevant performing fields. Besides, the students in a higher level in this major have the opportunity to go to Korea Arts University for the further study.
