Program Target

　　With the rapid development of multimedia technology, the computer animation, computer graphic design, multimedia design, wireless value-added industries and other newly practical techniques has formed a new industry direction with great business opportunities and broad employment prospects. According to the statistics, in next 10 to 20 years, the total demand for multimedia professionals of China's culture industry will not be around 1 million.

　　Combined music production and digital media technology together, the faculty of this school have been dedicating to foster students become market oriented talents and multi-skill professionals with innovative spirit and the creation ability that are good at both music production and digital multimedia technology.

Facility

　　2 top-level Apple Computer Rooms with 40 Apple Computers, 6 Music Production Labs, 4 Multimedia Production Rooms, 4 MIDI Labs, 10 Professional Studios, and 4 Professional Music Recording Studios.

Faculty

　　The Dean of this department is Wang Shaojie, Member of China Film Association and China's sound engineer Council, senior sound engineer in china film orchestra. With his exquisite technique and unique insight on the arts, he creates many pieces of well-known works in the forty years of his professional career.

　　Vice Dean, Wang Lei, Member of China's sound engineer Council, one of Young Top Sound Engineers in China, the sound recording supervisor of Yuan Digital Recording Studio(Top3 Digital Recording Studio in China) .

　　There are nearly 30 full-time and visiting faculties in this department, they are famous experts, scholars, music producers and sound engineering at home and abroad.
