Soaring, a special performance by volunteers from CMA at the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympics

On September 6, 2008, Beijing National Stadium saw all of flame, passion, dream and hope. Beijing spent another sleepless night after August 8, 2008 – the opening day of 2008 Olympic Games. Soaring, a special square matrix performance by 150 volunteers of CMA and students from Beijing’s other higher education institutions at the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympics, completely demonstrated great charm and wisdom of Chinese nation to people around the world.

Mr. John from USA said to CMA’s reporter that Soaring is very impressive and Chinese people’s creative ideas for the opening ceremony were great. As CMA’s reporter told him that some of the performers came from CMA, he said in broken Chinese that they were wonderful. Exactly! Their hard rehearsal lasting for over two months was paid off by high praise from the people worldwide. All of their efforts were really worthwhile. “I participate, I contribute, I enjoy” is undoubtedly the best interpretation of Olympic spirit. September 6, 2008 - the day that witnessed the glory of 150 volunteers of CMA.
